All members of Dallas Vascular Consultants are board certified physicians, who perform procedures at Baylor University Medical Center. Each of our physicians has one or more areas of special interest and expertise. These include: non-surgical aneurysm repair, angioplasty, stent placement, hypertension, peripheral vascular disease, fibroid embolization, infertility, liver disease/tumors, and vascular access.
We use minimally invasive, imaging guided techniques that are often an alternative to conventional surgery. We are highly trained in imaging, patient management, and the performance of procedures. We diagnose and treat a wide variety of conditions by using small catheters (tubes) or other devices guided by x-ray, ultrasound, or computed tomography imaging. Procedures performed in this manner are generally less costly and less traumatic to the patient than surgery. These procedures require smaller incisions, shorter (or no) hospital stays, and less pain. This method of patient care has been described as "surgery of the 21st century."
